The Pi Network team reminded users to complete the Know Your Customer (KYC) process and transition to the Mainnet by January 31, 2025.

Transition to Mainnet and KYC Process

On January 5, 2025, the Pi Network team stated that users need to complete the KYC process and migrate to the Mainnet by January 31, 2025, or risk losing access to most of their mined Pi coins. The KYC process verifies users' identities and ensures compliance with anti-fraud measures.

User Verification Challenges

Only 13 million of the over 100 million users have been KYC verified so far. This means nearly 50% of users are yet to complete the process. In recent months, approximately 1.2 million previously blocked users have been unblocked to continue their verification.

User Participation as KYC Validators

To facilitate the verification process, Pi Network has invited existing verified users to become KYC validators. Users can help expedite the transition to the Mainnet and ensure the security of their Pi coins.

The Pi Network team emphasizes the urgency for users to act promptly to complete their transition to the Mainnet and secure their coins.
