The Pi Hackathon 2025 is open for team formation and registration starting August 15. The main goal is to create applications that enhance users' regular experiences and boost the utility of the Pi token. The development team encourages the creation of apps for various needs, including payments and services.
Participation Conditions
Those interested in participating must register through the official Hackathon Registration Form. There are no limits on team size, but all members must pass the KYC process to receive prizes. Participants are required to upload their completed apps to the Pi Developer Portal along with a demo video.
Prize Pool and Evaluation Criteria
The total prize pool for the hackathon is 160,000 Pi tokens, to be distributed among the best teams. The prizes for the top three places are 75,000, 45,000, and 15,000 tokens respectively, with additional awards for up to five teams at 5,000 tokens each. Applications will be judged based on utility, UI/UX, and long-term potential.
