In a Bloomberg interview, Ripple President Monica Long hinted that approval for an XRP-based ETF might soon be secured, leading to positive changes in U.S. crypto regulation.

Potential Approval of XRP-Based ETF

Monica Long expressed optimism about the future of U.S. crypto regulations, suggesting that an XRP ETF might follow Bitcoin and Ether. Ripple is in the process of filing for this financial instrument's approval with the SEC.

Launch of New RLUSD Stablecoin

The company also announced the launch of the RLUSD stablecoin, with a capitalization of $72 million. In partnership with Chainlink, Ripple has integrated some of its services to strengthen RLUSD's application in the DeFi system.

Regulatory Changes and Market Trends

Since November, speculation that a crypto-friendly U.S. administration could positively impact tokens like XRP has increased. XRP's price has surged over 300% since Trump's victory, linked to a positive regulatory sentiment in the U.S.

Overall, the outlook for XRP and Ripple appears promising given regulatory changes and product expectations. The market anticipates further growth of the cryptocurrency with support from new regulatory initiatives.
