On August 28, 2025, Rain announced the completion of a $58 million Series B funding round led by Sapphire Ventures, with participation from various venture funds. This brings Rain's total funding to $88.5 million just five months after its Series A round. The company reports a tenfold increase in transaction volume since January 2025.

Rain offers a vertically integrated platform that allows users to embed stablecoins into their products and operations through a single API. The company's partners can launch programs serving over 1.5 billion people, with expansion underway into Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia-Pacific.

Rain enables the use of stablecoins for everyday purchases through its card programs that work on the Visa network.
