Rarible, the decentralized non-fungible token (NFT) marketplace, announced the support for the LightLink network, significantly expanding its blockchain infrastructure.
Support for LightLink Network
On September 2, Rarible confirmed the additional support for the LightLink blockchain on its NFT platform. As part of this integration, the Rarible team, along with digital artist Monte Joe, launched the NFT collection named 'Steve Ez Cheese,' which includes 3,333 unique tokens hosted on the LightLink blockchain.
Advantages of LightLink Blockchain
LightLink is an Ethereum Layer 2 blockchain that provides instant, gasless transactions for decentralized applications (dApps). This blockchain utilizes a unique 'Optimium architecture' and allows businesses to prepay gas fees, making blockchain interactions more accessible for users.
Expanding Rarible's Capabilities
With the addition of LightLink support, the total number of blockchains supported on the Rarible platform has increased to 12, allowing users to access a wider range of NFTs and simplifying the processes of creating, buying, and selling unique digital assets.
The integration with LightLink highlights Rarible's commitment to enhancing NFT trading and providing users with more convenient and efficient solutions for digital asset management.
