The bill has passed the Commission at the Turkish Grand National Assembly and is expected to be debated in the General Assembly soon. Minister of Treasury and Finance Mehmet Şimşek provided insights on the taxation of income from cryptocurrencies and transactions conducted on crypto exchanges during an AKP consultation meeting in Kızılcahamam. Minister Şimşek stressed the necessity of implementing taxation on generated income worldwide and regulating cryptocurrencies, publicly traded assets, and investment funds.
