Ripple Issues 970 RLUSD, Burns 100 RLUSD
Over the past eight hours, two stablecoin stashes, each containing 485 RLUSD, have been issued. These are the largest single RLUSD chunks minted so far since the project's trial was launched in August. Additionally, two batches of 50 RLUSD each were burned. Burning usually means locking existing coins in wallets from which they can never be withdrawn or spent.
Ripple Moves 200 million XRP into An Unknown Wallet
Blockchain tracker Whale Alert reported that Ripple transferred 200,000,000 XRP to an anonymous wallet. This move sparked significant interest and excitement within the XRP community. While some believe it signifies a settlement, others see it as a bullish factor for XRP. However, XRP explorer Bithomp believes that these funds were transferred to a wallet associated with Ripple, likely to be used for external payments or sales on crypto exchanges.
