At the Indonesia Technology & Innovation 2024 (INTI) exhibition, held from August 12 to 14 at JI-Expo Kemayoran, Sekuya and Gamecomm Indonesia introduced their new character, Ziva, a cultural hero designed to showcase Indonesia's rich cultural heritage.

At the highly anticipated Indonesia Technology & Innovation 2024 (INTI), held from August 12-14, 2024 at JI-Expo Kemayoran, Sekuya and Gamecomm Indonesia proudly introduced their latest collaborative character, Ziva. The character's full name is Zivana, and she is more than just a gaming icon; she is a cultural ambassador uniquely crafted to reflect Indonesia’s rich heritage. Ziva incorporates traditional elements such as Gorga Batak and Batik Parang patterns, along with the core values of Pancasila and Bhinneka Tunggal Ika. This design showcases a deep commitment to integrating Indonesian culture within the gaming world.

Gamecomm Indonesia Goes to School Program

Sekuya and Gamecomm Indonesia are leaders in the Indonesian gaming industry, committed to promoting national culture and values through innovative gaming experiences. Their collaboration, supported by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Kemendikbudristek), is set to make a significant impact through the Gamecomm Indonesia Goes to School initiative. This program introduces gaming as an educational tool, aiming to enhance digital skills among students while fostering an appreciation for Indonesian cultural heritage. At INTI 2024, over 40 schools and more than 500 students from the Greater Jakarta area attended, eager to experience the latest in locally developed games. Gamecomm Indonesia, in collaboration with Sekuya, is aligning the curriculum of Vocational Education Units to support the government’s vision of improving the quality of human resources and boosting local game development.

Launch of Sekuya Labs

During INTI 2024, Sekuya also announced the launch of Sekuya Labs, a groundbreaking initiative designed to be a digital hub for communities, brands, and creators. Sekuya Labs can be accessed through https://labs.sekuya.io/collections, offering a platform where gaming enthusiasts can interact, share, and connect directly with the universe of Sekuya Saga. Several prominent brands have already joined Sekuya Labs, including Radical Motorsport Indonesia, Andrometa, and Khuga. At INTI 2024, these brands are actively engaging participants with Sekuya-themed gaming activities, such as the Racer Hunt organized by Sekuya and Radical Motorsport Indonesia. This event aims to discover and nurture young Indonesian talents who aspire to a career in racing, with the opportunity to join the Sekuya racing team.

The ongoing collaboration between Sekuya and Gamecomm Indonesia at INTI 2024 is not just about introducing new innovations; it’s about laying the groundwork for a stronger esports and educational ecosystem in Indonesia.
