SharpLink continues to actively increase its assets in Ethereum, completing a recent transaction valued at $295 million.
Ethereum Acquisition Strategy
On July 28, SharpLink purchased 77,210 ETH for $295 million, increasing its total ETH holdings to 438,017 ETH, valued at $1.69 billion according to Arkham data. The transaction was executed through OTC dealings facilitated by Galaxy Digital.
SharpLink Trading Tactics
SharpLink is rapidly accumulating Ethereum and has already surpassed the Ethereum Foundation. On July 25, the company transferred $145 million in USDC to Galaxy Digital. In July alone, SharpLink acquired over 16,000 ETH through similar OTC deals, bringing total Ethereum purchases to nearly $1.3 billion.
New Leadership in the Company
SharpLink appointed Joseph Chalom, former head of digital assets at BlackRock, as co-CEO. He began his role on July 24. Chalom previously led the launch of the iShares Ethereum Trust (ETHA), now the largest Ethereum ETF.
SharpLink is demonstrating a confident strategy regarding Ethereum, setting standards for the use of digital assets in business.
