Shiba Inu developer Kaal Dhairya has revealed updates regarding the decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) of Shiba Inu, including plans for upcoming elections.
Elections in the Shiba Inu Ecosystem
On August 4, Lead Ambassador Shytoshi Kusama announced the next step in the ecosystem journey: elections for a new lead visionary and councils for DAO. In a recent X post, he emphasized the importance of feedback from the community and promised to share details soon. "The true birth of a network state massive as Shib," he wrote.
Work on DAO Functionality
Kaal Dhairya also noted that work on the SHIB DAO is ongoing, but the system is not fully operational yet and only supports one voting strategy. "We appreciate everyone’s valuable feedback regarding the elections—we will be sharing detailed information soon. Please note that the DAO is not yet fully operational," he stated in his post.
Vision and Future Plans
Kusama indicated in his blog post that an amendment has been created to ensure fair elections for the SHIB president. Dhairya mentioned that elections are the first step toward embracing Shiba Inu's decentralized vision, adding, "Let's explore exciting new avenues like ShibWater or other innovative ideas starting with Shib." He emphasized that the beauty of SHIB lies in the depth and interconnectedness of its tokens and systems.
Thus, the Shiba Inu ecosystem continues to develop, focusing on decentralization and community involvement. New initiatives and improvements are expected in the near future.
