The ShibaSwap decentralized exchange is preparing for major updates with the launch of liquid staking, attracting new users to the Shibarium ecosystem.

Details of ShibaSwap Update

This weekend, Shibarium Updates (@Shibizens) announced the upcoming introduction of liquid staking on ShibaSwap. This information was also posted on the newly rebranded Shiba Inu website.

New Liquid Staking Feature

Liquid staking will allow users to stake tokens on ShibaSwap while maintaining access to their assets for trading or use as collateral on other DeFi platforms. Participants staking their TREAT tokens will receive liquid tokens, veTREAT, which also provide governance rights.

Karma System and Future of ShibaSwap

Plans include the introduction of a Karma Point system, allowing users to earn points by interacting with various ecosystem tokens or providing liquidity on ShibaSwap. Karma points will enhance users' voting power in the upcoming Shib Doggy DAO. The specific launch date for liquid staking has yet to be announced.

The introduction of liquid staking on ShibaSwap and future updates, such as the Karma Point system and Shib Doggy DAO, will solidify the platform's standing in the DeFi world.
