According to Elliptic, following the closure of Huione Guarantee, many service providers have started migrating to Tudou Guarantee, which has absorbed a significant share of the transactions previously processed through Huione.
Huione Guarantee’s Operations and Its Fallout
Launched in 2021 by the Huione Group in Cambodia, Huione Guarantee was initially intended to support legitimate transactions, but over time, it shifted focus to support cyber scam operations. After its closure on May 13, 2025, it was revealed that the platform processed over $27 billion in transactions, many of which were linked to large-scale scams.
Huione’s Activity Restrictions and New Challenges
The shutdown was also prompted by a detailed Elliptic investigation that led to Telegram removing numerous associated channels and banning accounts. Despite this, the market didn't disappear; other Telegram platforms continue to thrive, offering similar services.
