Sogni AI, a decentralized creative AI platform, has announced an international student hackathon alongside Base and Virtuals Protocol, scheduled from August 16 to 26, 2025.
Overview of the Hackathon
The hackathon will be virtual and span over ten days, allowing students around the world to engage in creating real-world applications utilizing Sogni AI, Base, and Virtuals Protocol technologies. The competition features over $4500 in prizes.
Tools and Technologies
Participants will use the Sogni SDK, which offers high-performance tools for image generation and fast rendering. The SDK supports up to 512 simultaneous generations through Sogni’s decentralized GPU network, enabling diverse project developments including generative bots and full-scale creative applications.
Developer Grant Program
Sogni AI is also launching a developer grant program, allocating up to 25 million SOGNI tokens in rendering credits to support innovative applications built using the Sogni SDK. Authors of selected projects will gain access to rendering resources, community support, and potential funding to scale their solutions.
