Strive Asset Management, co-founded by Vivek Ramaswamy, has officially filed with the SEC to launch a Bitcoin Bond ETF.

What is the Bitcoin Bond ETF?

The Strive Bitcoin Bond ETF will be an actively managed fund investing in company-issued bonds aimed at directing proceeds toward Bitcoin. The ETF will also gain exposure to these bonds through derivatives like swaps and options, focusing on 'Bitcoin bonds' tied to firms highly involved in the crypto industry.

Strategy to Address Economic Risks

Since its founding in 2022, Strive Asset Management has concentrated on addressing broader economic issues like inflation and global debt crises. Strive sees Bitcoin as a valuable hedge against these risks, making it an essential component of a diversified portfolio.

MicroStrategy's Influence on Fund Strategy

A key element of Strive's strategy involves engaging with companies like MicroStrategy, known for its aggressive Bitcoin acquisition strategy. Since 2020, MicroStrategy has invested over $27 billion in Bitcoin, making it one of the largest corporate holders of the cryptocurrency.

Upon receiving SEC approval, the ETF will be listed on the NYSE, providing investors with exposure to Bitcoin-linked assets without directly holding the cryptocurrency.
