CARV has successfully concluded the global Tech Fairness Hackathon, which attracted over 600 participants and served as a platform for developing open, equitable AI and Web3 technologies.
Hackathon Overview
The Tech Fairness Hackathon, co-hosted by CARV and FAIR3, attracted over 600 applicants and showcased more than 200 registered projects. Out of 30 finalists, 21 winners were selected. The event focused on advancing privacy-first agent applications.
Winning Projects
Among the winners were projects like AI World, Cipher Protocol, DootyCall, NutriMe, and PeachLust, which demonstrated how decentralized agents can be implemented through modular infrastructure. These projects cover various domains, from AI health applications to generative storytelling platforms.
Future Perspectives of CARV
Following the hackathon, CARV plans to focus on three key areas, including the large-scale deployment of Agent IDs and the creation of early marketplaces for agents. The organization emphasized the importance of builder participation in governance and the development of technologies aimed at stability and convenience for AI agents.
The hackathon marked a significant step towards the development of the CARV ecosystem, showcasing the potential of decentralized agent applications and engaging builders in their advancement. CARV aims to create identified AI agents who will serve real people.
