Terraform Labs recently burnt 251 billion LUNC and 264 million USTC, significantly reducing the circulating supply of tokens. This event has sparked discussions in the crypto community about the potential recovery and possible rise of LUNC to $1.

LUNC's Increased Supply and the Burn Program

Following the collapse of the Terra ecosystem in 2022, the supply of LUNC tokens greatly increased, reducing value prospects. The main recovery issue has been the staggering supply of trillions of tokens. The burn program, backed by Binance, aims to reduce the token volume, yet only 4% of the 6 trillion supply has been burned so far. Analysts suggest that the burn rate needs to increase substantially to impact prices significantly. It's crucial to have strong demand for tokens along with burns, otherwise, even major burns might not push their price up to $1.

Regulatory Compliance and Recent Developments

TFL’s recent burns are due to regulatory compliance after an SEC settlement, leading to the burning of assets stored in Shuttle Bridge wallets. Besides burning, the Terra Luna Classic community introduced a new tax system called the 'Reverse Charge' mechanism, simplifying transactions by reducing pre-reception transaction taxes, and eliminating double taxation losses from smart contract execution.

Price Analysis and Forecasts for LUNC

Currently, LUNC trades at about $0.00008297, showing bearish tendencies. Price forecasts for November suggest a rise within the range of $0.318587 to $1.085259. Optimistic targets see potential reach between $0.987665 and $1.509772 by year-end. Looking ahead to 2025, analysts estimate a price range of $0.543725 to $1.285065. Sustained growth will rely on successful burn programs, increasing demand, and ongoing community efforts to strengthen the Terra Luna Classic network. LUNC's future is uncertain, and investors are advised to remain cautious due to the high volatility and unpredictability of the cryptocurrency market.

As community-led burns, regulatory improvements, and structural changes continue, only time will tell if LUNC can overcome its challenges. While reaching $1 may be a distant goal, the Terra Classic community remains hopeful that these initiatives will foster recovery and long-term value stability.
