Tether's Profit for Q2
According to a report by accounting firm BDO, Tether's net profit for Q2 2025 reached approximately $4.9 billion, bringing the total profit for the first half of the year to $5.7 billion.
USDT Issuance Reached $20 Billion
The report highlights that Tether issued $13.4 billion in USDT during Q2, raising the year-to-date issuance to $20 billion, resulting in a circulating supply exceeding $157 billion.
Tether's Investments and Regulatory Changes
Tether is actively investing in various sectors, including renewable energy and artificial intelligence. CEO Paolo Ardoino mentioned investments in over 120 platforms. Meanwhile, new regulations, such as the GENIUS Act, promote the legitimization of stablecoins in the U.S.
