The Smarter Web Company announced the purchase of an additional 295 BTC for £26.3 million (around $35.2 million). The transactions were made at an average price of £89,000 ($119,412) per Bitcoin.
Total Assets of the Company
Following the recent purchases, the company's total Bitcoin investment has reached 2,395 BTC, amounting to £197.3 million ($264.8 million). The company remains the UK's largest publicly traded institutional Bitcoin holder and ranks in the top 25 globally, according to Bitcoin Treasuries data.
Company's Strategy for Bitcoin
The Smarter Web Company, which began accepting Bitcoin payments in 2023, adopted a Bitcoin treasury policy in April. CEO Andrew Webley stated that they aim to enter the top 20 global Bitcoin holders in the coming weeks.
