A new initiative by the Sovereign Nature Initiative (SNI) in collaboration with Unique Network and WalletConnect offers Token 2049 attendees a novel way to interact with digital assets and the ecosystem.

Innovative DOTphin Project

SNI, Unique Network, and WalletConnect have launched DOTphin, a new Polkadot-based NFT project. Token 2049 attendees in Singapore can visit the Polkadot booth to collect their Proof of Presence (PoP) and begin their journey with DOTphin avatars. Users can observe the evolution of their avatars through interaction, contributing to real-world marine conservation efforts.

Avatar Collection and Evolution Process

By collecting PoP, users initiate the avatar's evolution process, influenced by ecological data from SNI's marine conservation partner, Aquasearch. The evolution starts with the acquisition of a 'orbo,' acting as the starting point. Utilizing various collected Proofs, users can influence their avatar’s characteristics, making it a unique representation of their engagement and achievements.

Informative Partners and Technologies

The DOTphin project is supported by partners like Unique Network and WalletConnect, along with artist Daria Smakhtina from Ephemera One, who designed the avatars in a Japanese anime style. This artistic choice creates a meaningful connection and encourages users to care for their digital companion.

The DOTphin project represents an innovative combination of blockchain technology and ecological initiatives, allowing Token 2049 attendees to contribute to marine conservation while interacting with digital avatars.
