The Open Summit, the largest TON event of the summer, gathered over 13,245 attendees from the TON ecosystem. The event was held from August 6-8, 2024, at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center TaiNEX2.

Major Announcements at The Open Summit

The Open Summit featured significant announcements reflecting the rapid development of the TON ecosystem. TONX secured $4 million in funding from leading Asia-Pacific venture funds such as SNZ Holding and Summer Ventures. Additionally, TONX announced a strategic partnership with IoTeX to bring DePIN technology to 950 million Telegram users. New projects and partnerships were also announced, including the Tonkeeper app update, Televerse Seed Funding Round, and the launch of Genopets' social PvP game Pixelton Arena.

The Open Summit featured over 40 speakers from the TON ecosystem. The event was opened by Steve Yun, president of the TON Foundation, who presented the platform's vision and its role in advancing blockchain technologies. The Code Summer Hackathon with a prize pool of over $1 million was also held, attracting 500 developers. The winning teams were Tradoor, TON Polling, and The Open Ocean. Active collaboration was also represented by partnerships with over 20 TON ecosystem projects, including Catizen, Yescoin, and Banana.
