Virtune has launched Finland's first crypto ETPs on Nasdaq Helsinki, making it easier for Finnish investors to invest in cryptocurrencies.

Launch of Crypto ETPs in Finland

Swedish company Virtune has introduced five different crypto ETPs on Nasdaq Helsinki. These products will provide Finnish investors with the opportunity to directly invest in cryptocurrencies in euros. This launch marks a significant milestone in the region's crypto market development.

Key Features of Virtune's ETPs

All five of Virtune's ETPs are physically backed and fully collateralized. They include leading cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, Ethereum with staking rewards, XRP, and Solana. There is also an altcoin index tracking 10 major alternative coins. CITE_NA: “ETN products provide access to alternative investments while maintaining the transparency of a regulated marketplace,” said Henrik Husman, president of Nasdaq Helsinki.

Market Impact and the Future of ETPs

Virtune's ETPs mark the largest simultaneous crypto ETP launch in Nordic history. Finland's €20.5 billion ETP market now accommodates new crypto assets, allowing investors to use their existing brokerage accounts for trading.

The launch of Virtune's crypto ETPs will significantly transform Finland's investment landscape, solidifying cryptocurrencies in the Finnish ETP market.
