Vitalik Buterin makes unexpected Shiba Inu (SHIB) post
Yesterday, March 27, Ethereum cofounder Vitalik Buterin mentioned Shiba Inu cryptocurrency in his recent post. Buterin discussed donating a portion of SHIB to charity and expressed surprise that the token's value did not drastically decrease. The post received attention from the SHIB community, including Shiba Inu lead Shytoshi Kusama, who responded with enthusiasm. The SHIB/USDT daily price chart currently displays a significant uptrend, with the meme coin trading at $0.00003232 at press time.
Ripple CTO says it's "nearly impossible" to avoid selling XRP
In a recent post, Ripple CTO David Schwartz stated that it is challenging to hold XRP without selling it. Schwartz also discussed the tax implications of receiving XRP from the company, using an example of needing to sell a portion to pay taxes. His comments were made in response to Dev Null Productions' departure from the XRP ecosystem due to loss of faith in Ripple's leadership.
Bitcoin (BTC) to test $80K before upcoming halving, says top analyst
Michaël van de Poppe, a renowned crypto analyst, predicted that Bitcoin will test $75,000 to $80,000 before the upcoming halving event. The analyst believes Bitcoin is currently in a consolidation phase and approaching the peak of its run. The halving event is scheduled for April 20, 2024. Currently, Bitcoin is trading at $71,149, up 2.84% over the past 24 hours, according to CoinMarketCap.
