Cryptocurrency exchange WazirX released a statement accusing its former security partner, Liminal Custody, of a breach that led to a cyber attack worth 2000 crore rupees. According to WazirX, a third-party forensic audit was conducted and found no instance of breach from WazirX’s end.
Liminal Custody's Response to Accusations
Liminal Custody, a digital assets security firm, responded to the accusations, questioning the overall security infrastructure and operations of WazirX. An official spokesperson of Liminal Custody stated that they could not comment on the forensic audit conducted by WazirX due to a lack of information about its methodology.
