What XRP Holders Need to Know About the NIGHT Token Airdrop

At Consensus 2025, Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson announced a major airdrop of NIGHT tokens for XRP holders.

Details of the Airdrop

As part of the airdrop, 1.2 billion NIGHT tokens will be distributed among XRP holders. It is expected that over 37 million wallets will be able to participate in this event, making it one of the largest in cryptocurrency history.

How and When to Claim Tokens

The claim portal opened on July 15 and will run for 60 days, closing around mid-September. To be eligible to claim tokens, users must have had at least $100 worth of XRP in their wallet at the time of the snapshot on June 11.

Significance of the Airdrop

Hoskinson noted that this airdrop aims to unite the crypto community by enabling different blockchains to interact. Thus, NIGHT and DUST tokens will serve as a foundation for new collaborative network interactions.
