Mark Yusko, head of Morgan Creek Capital, recently shared his views on digital assets and explained why his fund does not invest in XRP.

Lack of investment in XRP

During a recent interview with Paul Barron Network, Mark Yusko stated that Morgan Creek Capital does not own any XRP tokens. The focus is primarily on investing in digital asset infrastructure, including Bitcoin and smaller amounts of Ethereum and Solana.

Decentralization issues

Yusko mentioned that there is no demand for tokens like XRP and Dogecoin among founding groups. He also pointed out the lack of proper decentralization in XRP compared to Bitcoin, which he considers a better solution.

Feedback on Ripple's involvement in crypto reserve

Ripple was recently criticized for allegedly lobbying against a strategic Bitcoin reserve. However, Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse said that the company's efforts are increasing the odds of a multi-token crypto reserve being created.

Morgan Creek's stance on XRP remains unchanged due to decentralization issues and lack of demand among investment groups. Bitcoin, meanwhile, is viewed as a more viable foundation.
