The XDC Network and Foundership accelerator program began in October 2024. The event took place during Token 2049 week at the 80RR Fintech Hub. The program aims to support over 10 startups with a total funding of over USD$ 2 million.
Support for Startups
The program attracted over 1000 registrations from startups and venture capitalists, showcasing projects in Gaming, Islamic Finance, RWA, and Payments. Projects like Zayn Network, MetaSoccer, and others were highlighted. Investors present at the event expressed interest in co-investing and supporting new Web3 solutions.
Prospects and Future
XDC Network is also partnering with global incubators like Brinc, Plug and Play, Tenity, and T-Hub to drive Web3 innovation. In the first half of 2024, Web3 startups secured approximately $3.7 billion in venture capital funding. Categories drawing the most investor interest include blockchain infrastructure, decentralized finance (DeFi), and decentralized social networks.
