Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson discussed key issues regarding the integration and support of other cryptocurrencies within his network.
Meeting with Chainlink Co-founder
Hoskinson stated that he recently met with Chainlink co-founder Sergey Nazarov to explore ways to connect Chainlink’s infrastructure with Cardano. The discussions centered around how oracles could be integrated into Cardano’s UTXO-based system more seamlessly.
Potential XRP Support
He also hinted at growing ties with the XRP community, noting that Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse was among those he spoke with, adding that Cardano’s Lace wallet is expected to support XRP by the end of 2025.
Investments and Regulation
Hoskinson further shared that Cardano has invested $23 million to expand its native token ecosystem, underscoring its commitment to accelerating adoption. He confirmed that progress is being made on the Digital Asset Market Clarity (CLARITY) Act, with a draft expected by the end of September and the final law potentially signed in October.
Hoskinson's discussions with industry leaders reflect active efforts in integration and collaboration within the crypto industry, which may lead to new opportunities for Cardano users.
