On December 18th, the company Ubisoft gave away 8,000 free NFTs from The Warlords of Champions Tactics collection, representing characters from the Champions Tactics game. They still have 999 tokens left for marketing purposes and plan to distribute another 1,000 coins to Ethereum (ETH) network users through the Oasys blockchain.

Some of those who received free NFTs from Ubisoft decided to sell them on the OpenSea marketplace, where their minimum price currently stands at 0.24 ETH (equivalent to $538 at the current exchange rate). These coins have become highly popular, with the total transaction volume exceeding $2.9 million.

For gamers who didn't participate in the NFT giveaway and aren't willing to spend over $500 on these tokens, there's no need to be disappointed. Anyone interested will be able to get a digital figure for free, granting them access to the game after the release of Champions Tactics, scheduled for 2024. Therefore, assessing the creativity of Ubisoft's employees doesn't require investing in NFTs.
