The developers of the MixMob gaming platform have announced the release of the MXM governance token. According to the team's statement, early project users will have the opportunity to claim an airdrop.

Starting from February 1, 2024, the MXM token will be available for trading on the Bybit cryptocurrency exchange. The project plans to distribute 63 million tokens among early users of the beta version of the game and purchasers of the non-fungible tokens (NFTs) known as MixBots.

Furthermore, the MixMob team intends to launch a new season of Racer1 with the gaming mechanic of "racing for earnings." In this game, racing combines with card battles, allowing players to train and customize MixBots robots and participate in competitions.

According to Decrypt, MixMob recently conducted a public NFT sale, during which 9,000 tokens were sold in just 12 minutes. This initiative generated revenue of $2.25 million for the platform.

It is worth noting that MixMob has raised over $15 million in multiple investment rounds, receiving support from notable entities such as Arthur Hayes, Solana Ventures, DeFiance Capital, IOSG, Shima Capital, Maven Capital, and other venture funds.

MixMob's CEO, Simon Vieira, has announced additional benefits for owners of Solana Saga smartphones, including token airdrops. It is expected that the distribution of rewards will take place in the first quarter of 2024.

This is not the first time that Saga smartphone owners have received coin airdrops. At the end of 2023, they were rewarded with BONK tokens, the price of which increased by nearly 1300% in just 30 days. A few days later, the Access Protocol team announced a new airdrop, leading to a significant increase in Saga smartphone sales.
