Kazakhstan is taking significant steps towards integrating artificial intelligence into its governmental framework with the launch of the AI Governance 500 program. This initiative aims to equip executives with the necessary skills to effectively implement and expand AI technologies within public organizations. The document provides a justification for the fact that such programs are essential for modern governance.

Launch of the AI Governance 500 Program

On January 19, the inaugural group of the AI Governance 500 program was launched, introduced by Zhaslan Madiyev, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development. The program is designed to cultivate a cadre of digital officers who will systematically apply AI solutions based on data-driven insights and standardized processes.

Participation and Curriculum Focus

Approximately 100 executives from various government and quasi-public sectors are participating in this initiative. The curriculum focuses on enhancing strategic understanding of AI and developing practical project applications. This program is a key component of Kazakhstan's broader strategy to strengthen its AI ecosystem and promote responsible governance in the field of artificial intelligence.

On the same day, Pieverse launched as a neobank for AI agents, securing $10 million in funding to revolutionize financial management for autonomous systems. For more details, visit read more.
