The Rarible team, a platform for exchanging non-fungible tokens (NFTs), has announced the discontinuation of trading NFTs created on the Tezos base, starting from December 1st. This decision is aimed at freeing up resources to improve functionality and expand integration with other blockchains. From the specified date, Rarible users will not be able to conduct operations with Tezos NFTs, instead, it is recommended to use the Objkt.com platform for transactions with these tokens.

It should be noted that support for Tezos on Rarible was introduced less than a year ago. In February 2023, Rarible co-founder Alexander Salnikov reported that thanks to a new aggregation tool, collectors can purchase Tezos NFTs on various platforms, including Objkt, Fxhash, Teia, and Versum.

In 2022, the Tezos Foundation, a Swiss non-profit organization, announced its intention to invest about $1.23 million in the creation of NFTs by emerging artists from Asia and Africa, thereby supporting the development of art and technology. This investment decision by the Tezos Foundation highlights the growing interest in the NFT and digital art sphere, especially in developing regions of the world.
