In late November, the CEO of Binance, Changpeng Zhao, stepped down from his position, and the exchange's management agreed to pay a fine of $4.3 billion in accordance with an agreement with US authorities.
According to Nansen data, after Changpeng Zhao's resignation, the outflow of funds from the exchange was insignificant. Traders withdrew $87.4 million in Ethereum over the week.
The outflow of various digital currencies, including those based on different blockchains, such as Polygon, Avalanche, and Binance Chain, amounted to only $59.7 million.
At the end of November, the outflow of digital assets was more significant, exceeding $1 billion, but in recent weeks, the situation has stabilized, and traders have started returning funds to exchange wallets. Richard Teng, the new head of Binance, emphasized that the company continues to operate normally and does not face financial problems.
