Quidd, a subsidiary of Animoca Brands Corporation Ltd, has entered into a multi-year agreement with the football club Newcastle United. This partnership establishes Quidd as the club's first official partner in the realm of digital collectibles. Under this collaboration, Quidd will offer Newcastle United fans officially licensed digital collectible cards, video moments, and commemorative digital items.

The collection's premiere is scheduled for March 28, 2024, at 14:00 GMT, starting with a limited series of Newcastle United digital collectible cards developed in collaboration with Leaf, a renowned manufacturer of sports collectible cards. The collection will include over 200 unique player cards available for purchase on the Quidd platform at a price starting from £0.79 per three-card pack.

Peter Silverstone, Commercial Director of Newcastle United, noted that Quidd is the perfect partner for the club's first officially licensed digital collection. He emphasized the importance of finding new and innovative ways to engage with the club's global fan base across various platforms. The collaboration with Quidd will allow the club to attract fans' attention through a unique digital collection, complementing the club's future retail offering.
