Rwanda has taken a significant step in enhancing its tech education landscape by officially accrediting its first private academy, the New Generation Academy (NGA), which, as stated in the official source, is expected to bolster the country's capacity to produce skilled tech professionals in high-demand fields.
New Generation Academy Receives Government Approval
Located in Kimihurura, Kigali, the New Generation Academy has received government approval to offer specialized training in software programming and embedded systems. This makes NGA the only private institution in Rwanda authorized to provide these essential programs, filling a crucial gap in the education sector.
Complementing Government Initiatives
The establishment of NGA complements the initiatives of the government-run Rwanda Coding Academy, which has been pivotal in nurturing tech talent in the country. With this new accreditation, Rwanda aims to further enhance its tech workforce and meet the growing demand for skilled professionals in the technology sector.
