The lead developer of Cardano has announced major plans for 2024

Dec 27, 2023

The lead developer of Cardano, Sebastien Guillemot, has unveiled ambitious plans for 2024, which include integration with Arbitrum and Mina Protocol. Guillemot, a key figure in the Cardano ecosystem and founder of Paima Studios, earlier this year introduced a second-level solution to enhance gaming experiences on the Cardano network.

In the official blog of Paima Studios, the challenges of scaling decentralized gaming experiences on the blockchain and the limitations of existing first-level blockchains are discussed. The Mina Protocol is presented as a key element in achieving scalability through the use of zero-disclosure levels and data availability. Paima proposes an innovative approach to account abstraction in the Mina Protocol, allowing users from different blockchains to participate without the need for a special Mina wallet.

The creation of a "funnel" system on the Paima platform is also described, aggregating states from different chains and simplifying development for developers in various ecosystems. These plans are generating great interest in the Cardano community, and ADA enthusiasts can look forward to an exciting 2024 marked by innovative collaboration with Arbitrum and Mina Protocol.
