The development team of the L2 network Starknet has commented on the rumors circulating about an upcoming airdrop. They confirmed the snapshot of transactions and user activity for the future distribution of rewards.
They also clarified that the criteria for receiving tokens have already been determined, and no subsequent actions or activities of users will affect the right to receive these tokens. This was announced by the Starknet team.
Earlier, screenshots allegedly from the official Starknet website appeared on social network X (formerly Twitter), demonstrating the verification of criteria for the airdrop. The Starknet developers commented that these screenshots are only initial drafts and are still under development. They assured that the final official criteria and distribution details will be published when they are fully ready.
Furthermore, the project representatives urged the community to be vigilant and beware of fraud related to the distribution of screenshots and speculations around the launch of the Starknet ecosystem token.
It is important to note that the StarkWare team has postponed the first unlocking of StarkNet (STRK) tokens to April 2024. It was also reported that the Starknet Foundation has allocated 50 million STRK tokens for those who contributed to the network's development.
