The total NFT sales volume for this week reached $503.35 million, with more than half of this amount, specifically $276.79 million, attributed to the Bitcoin blockchain, making up 54.98% of the total weekly sales volume. According to data from cryptoslam.io, this period also marked a significant increase in market activity, with the number of NFT buyers growing by 199.44%, and NFT sellers increasing by 193.20%.

Special attention should be paid to the NFT sales figures on the Bitcoin blockchain, where there was a growth of 122.16% compared to the previous week, reaching $276.79 million. Despite Ethereum's significant presence in the market, it showed modest growth of only 0.93% with a total sales volume of $99.67 million.

It's worth noting that the Solana network also demonstrated substantial growth in NFT sales, reaching $90.04 million, which is 56.58% higher than the previous week. However, sales in the Polygon and Immutable X networks decreased by 7.28% and 3.79%, respectively, compared to the previous week.

These data underscore the increasing influence of the Bitcoin network in the NFT sector, with eight out of the top ten largest NFT collections in terms of weekly sales being on the BTC network. The ninth and tenth positions are occupied by the "Matr1x Kuku" collection on Ethereum and "Tensorians" on Solana, respectively.

The most expensive NFT sale of the week was the Fidenza #985 token on Ethereum, which was sold for $277,000. In second place is an NFT based on Bitcoin representing a work of art by Van Gogh, which was acquired by a new owner for $263,000. There were also significant token sales on the Solana, Avalanche, Cardano, and Polygon networks.

Throughout November and the first two weeks of December, the Bitcoin blockchain consistently outperformed Ethereum in NFT sales, and this trend is likely to continue in the near future.
