Upland has announced the launch of the Share and Build airdrop series. This initiative aims to reward both existing community members and newcomers who actively engage with the Upland platform before the launch of its Ethereum token. In the first phase of the Share and Build campaign, users can earn Sparklet tokens, used in Upland for building structures and creating content, by completing tasks on social media and within the app over three weeks.

Users can link their Twitter accounts and earn points by interacting with Upland and Sparklet content on the platform. These points will then be converted into Sparklet tokens within the Upland game. This approach is reminiscent of previous token farming campaigns like Portal and BlockGames.

Last November, Upland announced plans to launch an Ethereum token linked to their in-game Sparklet token. The community approved this proposal with an overwhelming 87% of votes. The upcoming Token Trading Event (TTE) will allow users to convert their in-game Sparklet currency into a tradable Ethereum token.

Idan Zuckerman, co-founder and co-CEO of Upland, expressed excitement about the Share and Build airdrop series, stating it aligns with their vision of a thriving Web3 ecosystem and rewarding loyal players. The first wave of the campaign offers 10 reward levels based on user engagement and social metrics on Twitter, including additional "point bonuses" for users of unspecified Upland partners.

Additionally, participants in each chapter of the airdrop campaign will receive a unique NFT Block Explorer, serving as an in-game asset in Upland. Collecting five such rewards unlocks an exclusive NFT for use within the Upland game.

Starting as a real estate trading game in 2019, Upland has evolved into a comprehensive metaverse experience, offering vehicles, events, and various gameplay opportunities. The company recently raised $7 million in an extended Series A round, highlighting its growth and ongoing development in the crypto gaming space
