Xai Foundation has announced a partnership with MIX (Media Indie Exchange), a gaming media resource, aimed at expanding the Web3 blockchain gaming industry. This collaboration is focused on implementing over 100 game developments on a specialized gaming chain. The partnership involves introducing more PC games based on the L3 Xai blockchain, operating on Arbitrum, which should contribute to creating an active gaming ecosystem on the blockchain. Moreover, this collaboration marks a significant step towards realizing the vision of a decentralized gaming industry.

Launched in December 2023, Xai Foundation aims to change the landscape by using blockchain technologies to provide developers and players with high levels of security, transparency, and ownership. MIX, serving as a curator of indie games, plans to support Xai by offering its expertise and connections with a diverse portfolio of games.

Despite its recent launch in 2023, Xai has already received commitments from various notable games for deployment on its platform, including the MMORPG Chains of the Eternals, the card game Final Form by Ex Populus, and the fully blockchain-based RPG Tarochi by Paima Studios. Additionally, the game Crypto Unicorns, previously based on Polygon, announced its transition to Xai in January 2024, demonstrating the platform's growing appeal among game developers.

The company announced that the transition to Xai would facilitate mass adoption by simplifying the entry process. Other reasons for moving to the high-profile platform included the company's node structure and the absence of gas fees. Justin Woodward, CEO of MIX, added, "With the success of the Steam Community Market, it became clear that there is a market for the trading platform provided by Xai. We are excited to help indie game developers find an alternative to the Steam ecosystem, as well as offer various funding opportunities."
