On October 27, the Mara project was launched in Nigeria. This is a new crypto wallet, released with the support of such platforms as Coinbase, Alameda Research and Huobi. These companies noticed Mara at the development stage and decided to invest in the development of the wallet. Thus, about $23 million was sent.

The creators of Mara worked hard to make the project convenient and easy to use. Of the main functions of the wallet, there are: the circulation of cryptocurrency and its transfer to fiat. It is worth noting that there are various information materials on the site.

The main goal of launching a crypto wallet - to attract the population of Africa to the crypto sphere.

Together with the wallet, the Mara Foundation was also created. This is an organization that will promote ideas for working with blockchain in Africa. The fund partnered with Circle to bring stablecoins to target markets.
