Perfume and cosmetics company L'Oréal is partnering with Meta to launch a start-up program. The goal - to create a creative place in the metaverse. Also, the French business school HEC Paris will cooperate with them.
The program will support startups, working in the following categories: augmented (AR) and virtual (VR) reality, avatar creation, 3D manufacturing, token economics and other topics, related to Metaverse. Also, a prerequisite for projects is a direct relationship to the beauty industry.
L'Oréal's marketing director noted that this collaboration will benefit both start-up startups and all partners who have come together to create new opportunities in the Metaverse.
Until November 20, everyone can apply for participation. Then, a jury of representatives from Meta, L'Oréal and HEC will select startups for future work. The program will run from January to June 2023.
It is worth noting that in February this year, L'Oréal filed 13 applications for the registration of unique trademarks in the form of NFTs.
