Ronke Rice Event was a limited-time Web3 event held within Craft World in the Ronin ecosystem, combining the game's economy with Ronkeverse, the RICE token, and NFTs from several Ronin communities. The event launched on September 3, 2025, and became Craft World's first live-ops event following the game's launch on Ronin mainnet. Players developed dedicated plots, produced resources, and collaborated to build three Event Masterpieces while competing for leaderboard positions and blockchain-based rewards. A key part of the mechanics was the conversion of RICE into in-game Fertilizer, connecting the event economy with Ronke Rice Farmers and other Ronin assets.

1. What Is Ronke Rice Event and How Is It Connected to Craft World

Ronke Rice Event, also presented as Craft World Meets Ronke and Gud Rice, was a temporary event within Craft World, a free-to-play game developed by VOYA Games. Craft World is built around resource management and production chains: players collect materials, automate production, and collaborate to create large structures known as Masterpieces. In July 2025, the project moved to Ronin mainnet, and the Ronke event became its first major live-ops experiment following that launch.

Participating in the event did not require purchasing an NFT. Players had to launch Craft World, connect a Ronin-compatible wallet, and reach level 10, after which a dedicated Ronke plot became available. This plot featured a special production economy that differed from regular Craft World plots.

The event brought together several projects from the Ronin ecosystem. Its central character was Ronke, the blue character associated with Ronkeverse, the Ronke community, and the RICE gaming token. Moku and Kanstar were also integrated into Craft World. Holding the corresponding NFTs provided additional gameplay benefits but was not required to access the event.

Ronke Rice Event should be distinguished from the standalone Ronke Rice Farmers game. The latter is a separate farming game with its own system of farms, workers, and RICE production. The Craft World event used RICE and the Ronke IP to establish a connection between the two products, while maintaining its own gameplay loop and rules.

2. How Farms, RICE, and Event Gameplay Mechanics Worked

The core gameplay loop of Ronke Rice Event revolved around a dedicated production plot. After unlocking it, players developed infrastructure, produced resources, and directed them either toward improving production or constructing Event Masterpieces. The more resources a participant contributed to the collective objective, the higher their potential position on the leaderboard.

RICE, the token associated with Ronke Rice Farmers, played a significant role in the event. It could not be used directly as a standard production resource. Instead, RICE was converted into the in-game Fertilizer resource at an event-specific rate of 1 RICE = 69,069 Fertilizer. The resulting Fertilizer was used to operate the Rice Mine and support the subsequent production chain.

This structure separated the blockchain asset from the internal production economy while simultaneously creating a mechanism for consuming the token.

The event progressed through several stages. Participants initially worked on the first Masterpiece with limited resource trading, followed by the next stage and eventually the third structure. After the event ended, special event resources were removed from the game. Progress within the temporary event therefore did not represent a permanent source of gaming assets.

3. NFTs, Ronke, Moku, and Kanstar in the Event Economy

NFTs in Ronke Rice Event were primarily used as a mechanism for improving production efficiency. Craft World allows workers to be assigned to production plots to increase the speed of operations. During the event, holders of Ronke, Moku, and Kanstar NFTs could unlock additional themed workers beyond the standard set of Dyno workers.

The number of additional workers depended on the NFTs held in the connected wallet. Players could receive up to four additional workers for each of the three participating IPs, providing a maximum of 12 event workers. Combined with standard Craft World workers, this increased the number of characters that could be assigned to the dedicated event plot.

The NFT integration created an additional layer of interaction between independent communities within the Ronin ecosystem. Ronkeverse provided the Ronke IP and NFTs, Moku represented another ecosystem community, while Kanstar introduced an additional group of digital asset holders. Under this model, Craft World served as a shared gaming environment where assets from different projects received temporary functionality.

However, NFTs did not replace the core gameplay experience. Participants without collectible assets could still access the event after reaching the required level. NFTs provided production efficiency advantages, making the model closer to token-gated boosts than to a game where NFT ownership is mandatory for participation.

4. How Ronke Rice Event Differs from Traditional Play-to-Earn Games

The traditional Play-to-Earn model is often based on a continuous cycle in which players receive gaming tokens for completing specific activities. Ronke Rice Event used a different structure: it was a time-limited event within an existing free-to-play game, while blockchain assets were connected to selected elements of the economy, rewards, and NFT-based bonuses.

Another distinguishing feature was the integration of several gaming communities within a single event. Instead of launching a separate game for each NFT project, Craft World provided an existing gaming system into which Ronke, Moku, and Kanstar were integrated. In Web3 gaming, this approach allows NFTs to gain functionality not only within their original projects but also as temporary gameplay modifiers in third-party products.

At the same time, this model illustrates the limitations of the interoperable NFT concept. The original gaming asset, together with all of its characteristics, was not directly transferred between games. Instead, NFT ownership in the connected wallet granted access to a specific bonus. The actual functionality of the asset in another game therefore remained determined by the Craft World developers.

5. Rewards, Tokenomics, and Risks of Ronke Rice Event

The event economy was linked to the amount of RICE contributed by participants. Of the tokens used through the Rice Mine, 69% were allocated to the prize pool for the third Masterpiece. Another 20% was designated for the game treasury, while 11% was allocated to a burning mechanism. As a result, part of the contributed RICE was returned to active participants through rewards, while another portion was removed from circulation or directed toward the ecosystem.

Announced rewards included RICE, RON, Water Dyno NFTs, tokens from other participating projects, in-game assets, and themed avatars. The outcome for each player depended on their activity and leaderboard position. Potential rewards therefore could not be considered a fixed return on the RICE contributed to the event.

Ronke Rice Farmers uses RICE within a broader game economy. According to the game's documentation, the original model included a supply of 20 million RICE, with 60% allocated for mining through the gameplay loop, 20% for investors, and 8% for liquidity. The remaining supply was distributed among the team, reserve, server maintenance, and advisors. Players spent RICE on workers, boosters, and Sushi, creating additional mechanisms for returning tokens to the in-game economy.

For users, this model involves several layers of risk. The price of RICE and other crypto assets can change independently of gameplay results. The one-way conversion of RICE into Fertilizer meant that the decision could not be reversed. NFT bonuses depended on the rules of the specific event, while the end of the event removed the functionality of temporary resources. Users also had to consider wallet security, smart contract risks, token liquidity, and the possibility of transaction errors on the Ronin network.

Ultimately, Ronke Rice Event was not a standalone persistent blockchain game but an example of a cross-project live-ops event within the Ronin ecosystem. It combined the Craft World gameplay loop, RICE, and Ronkeverse with NFTs from other communities, using blockchain infrastructure for asset ownership and the distribution of selected rewards. The format demonstrates one potential direction for Web3 gaming, where tokens and NFTs can move between connected gaming ecosystems not as universally interoperable game objects, but through purpose-built integrations and temporary events.
