Ronke Rice Farmers is a browser-based idle Web3 game within the Ronkeverse ecosystem, operating on the Ronin network. The project revolves around virtual farms, workers, and the RICE token: players develop their farms, hire farmers, and decide how to allocate generated resources between expanding production and withdrawals. The economy is also connected to the RONKE token and the Ronkeverse NFT collection, whose holders can receive in-game production multipliers. The first version launched in August 2025, while by 2026 the team had begun preparing an updated model, making it important to distinguish the original mechanics from features planned for future versions.

1. What Is Ronke Rice Farmers and How Is the Game Connected to Ronin?

Ronke Rice Farmers emerged as a gaming project from the Ronke community on the Ronin network. Its identity is built around Ronke, a blue monkey character that initially developed as a meme and community-driven IP within the blockchain ecosystem. Over time, the project expanded to include the RONKE token, a collection of 6,969 Ronkeverse NFTs, and several gaming applications.

Rice Farmers extends this ecosystem through an idle economy game. The first version launched on August 6, 2025 and operated directly in a web browser, eliminating the need to install a separate full-scale game client. The core gameplay focuses less on real-time character control and more on farm development and optimization of RICE production.

The project uses Ronin, an EVM-compatible network focused on gaming and consumer applications. Users interact with blockchain assets through compatible wallets, while RICE and RONKE exist as tokens within this infrastructure. As a result, the game's economy is directly connected to on-chain transactions rather than being limited to an internal developer-controlled database.

Ronke Rice Farmers should also be distinguished from other Ronkeverse applications. The broader ecosystem includes Ronke Casino, NFTs, community mechanics, and the developing Age of Ronke game. Rice Farmers represents a separate direction focused specifically on resource management, passive production, and a tokenized in-game economy.

2. Ronke Gameplay: Farms, Workers, and Idle Mechanics

The core loop of the first version of Ronke Rice Farmers is based on purchasing farms and assigning workers. Farms were purchased with RONKE, while additional farmers required RICE. Once production started, workers automatically generated RICE, creating a gameplay model centered largely on passive progression.

Farms were divided into five levels. Upgrading a farm increased the number of available worker slots, water capacity, and water regeneration speed while also unlocking more productive workers. Farmers differed in price, water consumption, and HashRice, a metric used to determine their production capacity.

The economy also introduced boosters and Special Edition Farmers. Upgrades could be purchased with RICE to increase productivity, while special workers offered higher HashRice rates but consumed more water. Maximizing production therefore required players to consider not only the number of workers but also the limitations of each farm.

The Sushi Bar was introduced later. Farmers received active and sleeping periods, while Sushi could be used to bypass downtime and continue production. Players deposited RICE into the Sushi Bar, with the resulting output determined through a multiplier system. This created an additional token sink rather than leaving the entire supply of generated RICE available only for withdrawal or sale.

3. RICE, RONKE, and the In-Game Token Economy

RICE is the specialized token of Ronke Rice Farmers on the Ronin network. The original documentation specified a total supply of 20 million RICE. Of this amount, 60%, or 12 million tokens, was allocated to in-game mining, 20% to investors, and 8% to liquidity, with the remaining supply distributed among the team, reserve, server maintenance, and advisors.

The original farming cycle was limited to approximately 69.69 days. Documentation described four epochs lasting around 17.42 days each, with changes in emissions during specific stages. After the farming period ended, new RICE was no longer intended to be generated through the standard farming mechanism under that model.

One unusual feature was the Jeet Jail system, designed to discourage aggressive token withdrawals. In the first version, withdrawing less than 40% of the available amount resulted in a five-day production suspension, while withdrawals of 80% or more could trigger a 15-day restriction. During this period, the user could not generate new RICE.

This structure created a distinct risk-reward element, but it did not eliminate economic risks. The market value of RICE and RONKE depends on trading conditions, while the outcome of an in-game strategy is affected by token prices, liquidity, and the behavior of other participants. Reinvestment mechanics may slow the outflow of assets, but they do not guarantee sustainable token economics or user profitability.

4. Ronkeverse NFTs, Ronin, and the Project's Web3 Infrastructure

Ronke Rice Farmers is closely connected to the broader Ronkeverse ecosystem. Its NFT collection consists of 6,969 digital Ronke characters issued on Ronin. Within Rice Farmers, ownership of a certain number of these NFTs was used not only for collectible purposes but also to provide additional in-game utility.

The multiplier system increased farming output according to the number of Ronke NFTs held in the connected wallet. For example, five standard NFTs provided a 1.2x multiplier, while 25 increased it to 1.5x. Certain 1/1 and Community 1/1 NFTs also offered enhanced multipliers and additional cosmetic benefits.

This model represents an example of token-gated utility without requiring every in-game asset to become an NFT. Farmers and production statistics can remain part of the game application, while the blockchain verifies ownership of an external digital asset and applies the corresponding bonus. Users retain their NFTs in their own Ronin-compatible wallets.

RICE also gained utility beyond the main farming game. In September 2025, the Ronke community and Craft World launched a limited event on Ronin mainnet. Users could deposit RICE to create resources and participate in the production of special masterpieces, with rewards including RICE, RON, and NFTs. The initiative demonstrated how a game token could be incorporated into cross-game live-ops scenarios within the same blockchain ecosystem.

5. Ronke Rice Farmers Development and Ecosystem Outlook

The first version of Ronke Rice Farmers was built around a limited production period, making its economy different from an unlimited idle-farming model. After the primary cycle ended, the team continued experimenting with the Sushi Bar, leaderboard mechanics, token-burning systems, and additional ways to use RICE.

In 2026, the project's public channels began showing a new generation of Rice Farmers. The developers demonstrated updated farming mechanics, including visual crop progression from planting to harvesting, and indicated that the game was being reworked. At the same time, the main Ronkeverse platform listed Ronke Rice Farmer 2.0 as a product under development.

The wider Ronke ecosystem is also expanding. In addition to farming, Ronkeverse has developed Casino features such as Coinflip and Mines, community voting systems, and Age of Ronke, a multiplayer project centered on developing and defending a player's castle. This gradually transforms Ronke from a standalone meme token into a collection of interconnected on-chain applications, although their audiences, liquidity, and individual life cycles may differ significantly.

Ronke Rice Farmers is an example of a small community-driven Web3 game in which tokenomics forms part of the core gameplay loop. Farms, workers, RICE, RONKE, and NFT multipliers connect progression with on-chain assets on Ronin, while also making user outcomes dependent on token market value and liquidity. The project's future will depend on the final Rice Farmer 2.0 model, actual demand for RICE, the development of Ronkeverse, and whether the updated version can establish a sustainable gameplay loop that remains engaging independently of financial rewards.
