About the Helmet.insure project

In the traditional financial market, derivatives such as options have been shown to be effective in hedging the risks of market volatility. With the DeFi infrastructure, anyone has the right to price an asset on SWAP with unlimited liquidity. What if there is an instrument or platform where a crypto trader or holder can simply take out extended “price based insurance” that can hedge price fluctuations and be rewarded at the same time. Such things can help users to assess their ownership and risks reasonably.

Helmet is a peer-to-peer insurance protocol, written with options trading logic that allows anyone to create any insurance policy on the market easily. Unlike other insurance products you may have used, Helmet does not address the “risk of a code attack,” but it does protect DeFi users from price fluctuations.

Helmet offers insurance providers the right to «LOGO>» modules under four elements, including:

1 Insurance use cases.
2 The type of insurance asset.
3 Insurance period.
4 Insurance prices.

This allows providers to select the types of insurance flexibly to sell and provide different types of hedges.

Helmet eco has two roles: policy provider and policy holder.Helmet.insure

The provider is the creator and seller of the insurance policy. When they place a sell order on the market, they can earn a small, stable reward in the form of a Helmet token. The Holder is the purchaser of the insurance and can obtain the policy by paying the Supplier. When the policy expires, they can claim or withhold insurance, based on the SWAP price.
