STEPN — a Web3 health app with built-in Game-Fi and Social-Fi elements. Users are armed with NFT in the form of sneakers. By walking, jogging or running outdoors, users will earn in-game currency that can be used in the game or cashed out for profit.
About STEPN project
In single player mode, users are equipped with NFT sneakers to earn tokens as they move. Energy is required to earn Green Satoshi (GST) tokens. Each 1 Energy equals 5 minutes of movement. Energy begins to replenish only after users purchase NFT sneakers. Users can see the status at the top of the screen, showing "Walking" or "Running".
It contains gems (level 1-3). Each user has 4 Mystery Box slots. The Mystery Box has the same 5 quality types as the sneakers. After receiving the Mystery Box, opening the box requires waiting and the countdown starts automatically. Once the countdown is over, they will spend a small amount of GST (base cost) to unlock it. The duration of the Mystery Box countdown increases in proportion to its quality.
Working rules:
| 1. | To get started, users need to download the STEPN app and register with it. Once you have accessed the application on the respective device, you will be able to register with STEPN by providing your email address. |
| 2. | You will receive a confirmation code that you must enter to enter the application. |
| 3. | Transfer SOL to the in-app wallet to buy NFT sneakers from the Marketplace, and always keep some SOL as gas in your Wallet account. |
| 4. | Go to the in-app Marketplace and select sneakers. You can use the "Filter" tool to find the right type of running shoes. Make sure you have enough SOL to purchase. |
After purchasing sneakers, energy will be restored at a rate of 25% every 6 hours (fixed in time AEDT 00:00, 06:00, 12:00, 18:00). You can start your STEPN journey right after the first 25% energy recovery.

The marketplace is a place where users can rent/rent or sell/buy their running shoes, badges and NFT gems. The Marketplace has a simple filtering and sorting feature for easy navigation.
Renters must complete a series of "scientific" quizzes to improve their credit score. Once their rating reaches 2/5, they can start renting. This process ensures that they understand all the fundamentals of the app, preventing tenants from underusing or misusing the app and generating no profit (e.g. running on a treadmill or walking in running shoes).
