What is CryptoCelebrities?

CryptoCelebrities — a blockchain game, the essence of which is very similar to CryptoKitties. The principle of operation of both games is identical: CryptoCelebrities creates a picture of a famous person. If another user likes your celebrity, he must increase the contract amount, that is, pay more than the previous owner. With each new trade, the value of this contract increases, allowing the seller to make a profit.

Brief description of the CryptoCelebrities project

All calculations in CryptoCelebrities are carried out in the Ethereum cryptocurrency. The system generates cards with photos of celebrities, after which the user can choose which celebrity "contract" he wants to buy. The system generates a new, higher price for the "contract". Another user can outbid the celebrity's card and the owner of the "contract" cannot refuse the deal.

When the "contract" is sold, the player receives almost the entire amount (the system takes a negligible percentage). The more often the “contract” is bought out, the higher its value.CryptoCelebrities

In the top of the most expensive "contracts" are: US President Donald Trump, actresses Angelina Jolie and Emma Watson, the alleged creator of Bitcoin Satoshi Nakamoto, Tesla and SpaceX founder Elon Musk and musician Kanye West. The most expensive card is with the creator of Ethereum, programmer Vitalik Buterin, it costs 24.5 Ether ($ 25 thousand), it was bought 31 times.

Other features

The creators of the platform said that real celebrities can also participate in the game. By confirming their card, they will be able to receive 3% from each transaction. CryptoCelebrities is in part a game, investment and charity:

CryptoCelebrities is in part a game, investment and charity:

Game This is excitement, collecting and a race for cards.
Investments The automatically doubled smart contract brings money (as long as there is someone after you who is ready to buy a card).
Charity When celebrities verify their smart contract, they can choose 3% of all transactions, sent directly to the charity.

Collecting stars is very profitable, but collecting even a small collection is difficult. Any card can be repurchased from you and you cannot refuse a deal. Therefore, if you become the owner of a crypto contract of your favorite singer or actor, you can buy it with a surcharge at any time.

The price growth for each trade depends on the current value of the contract:

  • if your celebrity now costs up to 0.05 ETH, then they will buy it from you at twice the price;
  • from 0.05 to 0.5 ETH - for 120% of the current value;
  • from 0.5 ETH to infinity - 115% of the price.

The project website lacks White Paper and RoadMap. The smart contract doesn’t have an audit. From social networks, the community maintains a Facebook, Twitter and YouTube. The project does not provide a referral system.
