Description of the EthBlockArt project
EthBlockArt — a blockchain-based digital art project. Artists use the blocky style of their choice and tweak the settings to create an image they find delightful. Already now there is a conversation between “technologists” and “artists”, which is rapidly destroying artificial boundaries. Artists use styles in ways coders never imagined, which in turn helps coders to come up with creative ideas for new styles.
In the open market, NFT prices vary, which helps artists to model more clearly, which visuals are considered valuable. They use styles in new ways, reflecting market dynamics, which helps programmers to come up with even more creative ideas. These are feedback loops all the way down, and in the process, each participant gains a deeper understanding of how to imagine a monolithic global computer and — more importantly — how to imagine a vision.
