GeoEth — a geographic game on the Ethereum blockchain. You will be able to create or join games in which you play against an opponent and try to guess the location of a certain area, based on a panoramic image. The player, who guesses the closest to the true location, wins the full stake.

Brief description of the GeoEth project
GeoEth — a new and innovative decentralized application that runs on the Ethereum network. There are two people in the game, who must use their geographic knowledge and luck. Each game is fast, only 60 seconds long and the winner takes it all.
Unlike other games in the field, GeoEth is competitive in nature and requires at least two people to participate. Rather than building an application that requires the constant involvement of new players, GeoEth will act on its own as long as there are people who want to suppress the competition.
How does the game work?
Before starting the game, users place their bet (minimum 0.01 ETH). The panoramic image is loaded then and the location is randomly marked for the players to guess. The one, who is closer to the true location, wins the game and the entire pot. To play GeoEth, you will need to install the Metamask extension in your browser and upload multiple Eth to your Ethereum account.
The player can either create a game or join other players. Each game has a selected amount that is wagered between the players. When two players have joined the game, a panoramic image of a random location is generated and displayed to both players. The players then have a minute to guess where the location is. Development fee is 6% of the stake. Thus, it is withdrawn from the losers' deposit when ETH is transferred to the winner. In other words, the winner wins 94% of their stake. If no one guesses, the game creator wins.
Safety of use
When a player creates a playing field, his ETH is deposited and held in the GeoEth smart contract. The smart contract ensures that the game creator can cancel their game if another player doesn't join. Canceling the game returns the initial ETH deposit. The contract also ensures that the winner will receive the game bank after the game ends and the winner is announced. No large amount of ETH will be in the contract in the long run.
Roadmap and other information
The GeoEth team is releasing their open beta to the public after two months of development and internal testing.
The next features and optimizations will appear:
| Firstly | The jackpot that is won when a player makes an incredibly accurate guess. |
| Secondly | Drawing up a table with leaders. |
| Thirdly | Correcting all bugs in the beta and launching a full-fledged platform. |
GeoEth — a fun way to test your geography knowledge and get rewards for your victories. You can get more information about the project on the game's website. There is a RoadMap, where the next updates are marked.
The community conducts these social networks:
Subscribe to the pages in social networks to stay up to date with all news. Also, the developers maintain a blog on the Medium platform, where articles, related to the project, are published. The smart contract doesn’t have an audit.
