Brief description of the Ethereum project OriginTrail
The OriginTrail decentralized network (ODN) helps to ensure data integrity and validation in cross-organizational environments, based on widely recognized standards and powerful graphical data structures. OriginTrail is the foundation for next generation business applications.
This allows enterprises to share and protect data seamlessly, providing new clarity for complex supply chains. By connecting different technologies, the company provides an incredible foundation for building its blockchain business models and enterprise solutions.
Dapp OriginTrail's Open Call competition
Top 10 projects have been selected by the OriginTrail community to receive up to $ 30,000 in funding and mentoring to realize their vision in the OriginTrail blockchain ecosystem. During the open vote, the community suggested many interesting approaches on Discord, Telegram and other channels. To ensure maximum transparency in voting, the OriginTrail team decided they did not want to interfere with voting, based on an open source smart contract.
Many safe checks have been carried out to ensure maximum fairness and transparency of the vote:
| 1 | There is no winner. Instead, there are 10 winning teams for a variety of use cases. |
| 2 | Voting registrations were closed after the start of voting to prevent “double voting” from transferring tokens from one wallet to another. Those, who registered to vote, could not know in advance how many other people had done so. |
| 3 | Everyone, who registered to vote, had to verify their email address and thereby prove that the used wallet was associated with an individual. |
The OriginTrail team has made every effort to ensure that all registered wallets have verified their email and that these addresses belong to legitimate users. All teams in Open Call were encouraged to promote Open Call in their communities and invite them to vote.
More about the blockchain platform
The project website has White Paper and RoadMap (at the end of the main page). The developers also provide some information about the platform.
