Description of the Rings
Rings — a stacked game, written in Solidity and deployed on the Ethereum mainnet, whose gameplay you can control directly from the blockchain. Someone puts a certain amount of ether on the stack, and for 126 blocks, anyone else can join the game, depositing the same amount. In block 127, 98% of the jackpot goes to the address that minimizes the value, 2% goes to the house.
From the moment his transaction is confirmed in a certain block X, the round continues for 126 additional blocks, during which any other player can take part in the bet and collect exactly the same amount.
Gameplay features:
| Firstly | If a player tries to place a bet less than the current value, the specified bet will not be added to the stack, but its value will be returned to the player. |
| Secondly | If a player places a bet, higher than the current one, the change will come back to the player after the bet goes to the stack. |
| Thirdly | Once the (X + 127)th block has been mined, the winner can be announced by calling or starting a new round. |
The winner is the user whose address, combined with the hash code of the first block after the last one for which a bet could be placed, went through the hash function and converted to an unsigned value. The winner gets 98% of the stack. 2% of the stack goes to the owner to fund research and development of decentralized enterprises. The number of blocks (127) was chosen as a prime number (for purely mathematical fun) so that the round would last about half an hour hypothetically.
